Diamond Hall Junior Academy joins the North East Learning Trust

Diamond Hall Junior Academy will officially join local multi-academy trust - the North East Learning Trust on 1 October.

Joining the Trust will mean Diamond Hall Junior Academy will become part of one of the most ambitious and exciting new multi-academy trusts in the north east.  With a shared vision for excellence, the Sunderland primary school will work with other Trust schools to help improve outcomes for hundreds of children across the region.

Headteacher at Diamond Hall Junior Academy, Kim Bennett, said:

“Joining the North East Learning Trust is a very exciting time for our school and we can’t wait to get started! We have a lovely, successful school which is forward thinking and always looking for the next opportunity. With our shared vision and values for our children, the North East Learning Trust is the perfect match for us, and a great step into the future. We are sure to see some great changes by working together over the coming years.”

North East Learning Trust Chief Executive Officer, Lesley Powell, added:

“We are delighted that Diamond Hall Junior Academy is joining our trust and we look forward to working closely with their staff in the coming months. As a successful junior school, Diamond Hall will bring a wealth of valuable experiences and expertise to our Trust.
