Throughout the week, Diamond Hall pupils have been visiting St Mary Magdalene Church to take part in traditional Christingle services, led by Father Skelton.

At this time of year, Christingle services help to remind Christians that Christmas is a time to remember Jesus and celebrate his birth. Each child brought their own Christingle to the service, with each part of the Christingle representing something important to the Christian belief. Pupils contributed to the services with readings and songs, as well as donating to The Children's Society - a charity that works with the country's most vulnerable children and young people.

Thank you to all who came to the services and to those who donated. We would also like to thank Father Skelton for leading the services.
