Last week, a group of children in Year 5 took an exciting trip to FabLab at the University of Sunderland.
The children spent the day designing their own 3D keyring using a software called Tinkercad as well as making their own t-shirts using designs they completed on their last visit - see photo above - we think they look great!
FabLab in Sunderland offers a diverse range of specialist digital design and fabrication equipment, it is a creative space where anyone can make (almost) anything.
Year 5 are already looking forward to their third and final trip to FabLab later in the year.
