We have had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day today with lots of amazing costumes, reading and story telling (even if it was a week later than planned!).
After delaying the celebrations because of snow, our pupils and staff pulled out all the stops to come to school dressed as their favourite characters from their favourite books. And... wow, what a selection of costumes we had - see photos below.
We promoted a love of reading through story-themed lessons as part of the theme 'Share a Story' and the children swapped teachers at the end of the day to enjoy a new story as part of a shared story session.
