On Wednesday night, five Year 6 pupils took part in a 5-a-side tournament at Goals Football Centre in Sunderland.
The first two fixtures ended in narrow defeat as our boys were beaten 3-2 against Barnes and 2-1 against Castletown, however, Lewis S was on the score sheet in both games.
Despite losing their first two games, the resilient team came back in their third match with a triumphant 5-0 win against Hylton Castle, with Deacan, Lewis and Thomas all scoring fantastic goals. The boys carried on their winning streak in their final match against St John Bosco winning 5-1 with Lewis S showing good finishing to provide the goals.
