Last week we were visited by the NSPCC who worked with our pupils to teach them to 'Speak out and Stay Safe'.

Our children enjoyed an assembly which focussed on keeping safe by identifying different types of abuse that children could encounter.

Following on from the assembly, Year 5 and 6 children took part in a workshop lead by staff from the NSPCC.

The workshop looked at different types of abuse and discussed different scenarios while answering the question, 'is it okay?'

The aim of the task was to empower children and encourage them to make the right choices and speak out if they do not feel comfortable.

The children were very mature in their responses and learnt a lot from the session.
