Year 5 pupil Annabelle has blown everyone away with her amazing running abilities and secured a place at Sunderland Harriers.
When learning athletic activities in school it was noticed that Annabelle ran the 800m with ease. After speaking to mum, Annabelle joined the running club a day later.
During her first time running in the club Annabelle ran the mile in only eight and a half minutes and placed second out of a group of 30 older children.
Annabelle will now dedicate herself to the club and train for competitions and events. Watch this space for more updates on Annabelle’s aspiring Olympian journey.
