Year 3 visit Broom House Farm

Year 3 pupils went on their final visit to Broom House Farm on Thursday to investigate the signs of summer.

The sun shone as pupils created flower crowns and found out why bees are so important. Pupils then met Mark the farmer who answered a ton of questions from our curious Year 3 pupils.

The final stop of the day was to visit the animals to see how much they had changed since their last visit. They found Dave the pig still lying down in his pen!

Ethan said: "I loved the farm. I want to say thank you to Ruth, Jane and farmer Mark."

Jasmine said: "I love going to Broom House Farm because we learn new things. I like finding out which strange things animals eat."

Ethan said: "I enjoyed listening to facts about sheep's wool."

It was a fantastic day and most children now want to be farmers, vets or beekeepers!
