Today, as part of the 37th annual Northern Children’s Book Festival, the pupils of Diamond Hall had the opportunity to work with Chris Callaghan, the author of the book, The Great Chocoplot.
The children joined an online, virtual session with Chris who read his book before answering some questions from our pupils. The session was a huge inspiration for the children who will now use this as a stimulus for their own writing and continue to fuel their love for reading.
Demi said: "I loved listening to Chris tell the story. I can only imagine a world without chocolate!" Olivia added: "I think I'm going to go and read The Great Chocoplot to find out more about the story!"
