The Christmas spirit has been in full swing this week at Diamond Hall. From Onesie Day to Christmas parties, the children have loved getting into the Christmas mood.

Sadly, we were unable to invite adults into our Christmas craft afternoons this year however that didn't dampen the children's enthusiasm. Fantastic crafts such as baubles and wreaths have been produced around school. Creative cards and calendars were also made by each class as part of the build up to Christmas.

The children were also joined virtually by Father Skelton, who shared the story of Christ's birth and the true meaning of Christmas with the children.

During Onesie Day, the children enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate and a satsuma while relaxing with a festive film.

Our Christmas parties were also a hit, with children dressing up into their party outfits and thoroughly enjoying their party tea!

Finally, the children finished the week with a virtual assembly across the whole school. Well done to Sapphire house, who have won the Autumn term merit trophy. Our reading and attendance superstars were also awarded with certificates for achieving 100% of their reading target or 100% attendance this term.

Well done to all!
