Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming staff from Sunderland Royal Hospital to our celebration assembly where our head boy and girl presented them with a cheque to use for their coronary care unit.
We would like to say a big well done to our Year 6 children who raised the money by planning and delivering a very successful fundraiser with the help of Years 3 - 5.
Everyone here at Diamond Hall is very proud to make a difference in our local community and we would like to thank the hospital staff who came to visit our school. It was a lovely moment for our head girl, Isabel, who presented the cheque to her mother who is a nurse on the ward.
It was a lovely occasion to bring two local communities together.
