As our eldest Year 6 children begin their final year here at Diamond Hall, our 6SB class have been getting stuck into their RE lessons, learning about the Jewish new year.
To get into the spirit of celebrating Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, our children enjoyed apples dipped in honey, which is a symbol of the sweet new year. They finished off their lesson by considering targets for the new year and hopes for the future.
Hannah said: "I liked how the sweet apples and honey were tasty and healthy, it's the perfect snack."
Zara added: "The apple was delicious and very sweet and yummy."
