Anti-Bullying Week 2022

Our pupils have been busy in their lessons with activities to mark Anti-Bullying Week.

Year 3 pupils discussed what kindness means and how we can show different ways to be kind. Pupils talked about how they feel when someone is kind to them and when they are kind to others. The class then created superheroes and listed all the powers they had to make others happy.

Year 4 children marked Anti-Bullying Week by taking part in a live lesson last week. Focussing on the theme 'reach out', the class discussed who their five trusted adults are, how they would respond to a message from an upset friend and ways to be kind to others.

Year 5, pupils looked at what bullying could look and sound like. The class also explored why bullies may choose negative actions. Year 5 are confident that they know what to do if they witness bullying or behaviour they think could escalate.

Well done everyone!
