We are super impressed with Year 4's clay figurines!
The class have been studying statues, statuettes and figurines in their art and D&T lessons this half term and have enjoyed researching famous statues, architecture and sketched statues for inspiration. Today Year 4 rose to the challenge of creating their own figurines using clay, wire and a sculpting tool. Leon said: "It was extremely hard to mould the body." Maverick added: "I enjoyed sculpting and creating extra detail".
We are sure you will agree that they've achieved a brilliant result!
