This week, 5CC enjoyed a trip to Harehope Quarry to consolidate their knowledge about rivers from Year 4. The children enjoyed a 5k walk upstream, going into the river to take some measurements on water speed and rock size. They then travelled further downstream to take the same measurements and looked at why they saw differences. Great work!
