On 14 June, two teachers from Swaziland in South Africa came to our school to teach us about their country and culture and to learn about ours.
Their day started with a grand tour of our school, before heading into the classroom to complete the International School’s ‘Culture in a Box’ activity.
Prior to the visit, 6HL collected postcards about school life, items they think represent their country, local community and culture, and a fact-file about the local area. All the items were popped in a box and presented to our visitors when they arrived at school.
A huge well done to class 6HL who made our visitors feel so welcome and thank you to our guests for coming in.
