Currently Shelley is school SENDCo and has been in this role since September 2019. In addition to this role, Shelley is also year group lead for Year 3 and is the performance manager for staff, regularly supporting staff through whole school training and on a one-to-one basis.
Shelley has a BA in Primary Education from Northumbria University. Eight years ago, she was within the first cohort to become Maths Specialist Teacher in Primary Education. She is also currently completing National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators.
Shelley is passionate about supporting all children to succeed and them achieving thier highest potential. She wants to ensure they have the full support around them to help them to do this, which has guided her career path within the school.
