This week, Year 5 were lucky enough to be invited to Thornhill School to take part in a rainforest day.
During the event, children were taught all about the different layers of the rainforests and the animals that can be found living in each section.
Some of the animals were even at the event and the pupils loved having the opportunity to look at them and even handle snakes!
It was extremely interesting to learn about their diets and habitats, although concerning to learn about the impacts deforestation has on our environment.
The children had good fun and learned a lot throughout the day, thanks to Thornhill School for having us.
