On Wednesday night, the Year 5/6 football team took part in three 7-a-side football league fixtures hosted by Hill View.
The team got off to a great start in their first game, coming in at half-time with a 5-0 lead against Redby. After a difficult second half, the boys managed to see out the game to win 5-3.
A great show of teamwork and effort saw the team gain a fantastic 6-0 win in the second game, against Barnes.
The final game was against Castletown and despite conceding an early goal, the boys worked hard as a team to come back and equalise to finish the game 1-1.
Well done to Harrison, Ryan, Charlie, Cameron, Thomas, Jack, Lewis and Adam, who represented the school brilliantly and showed a rights-respecting attitude to the officials and opposition throughout. A special well done to Thomas, who was also voted man of the match!
